Dr. George Davies was nominated by SPTS due to his distinguished background as an internationally known writer and speaker. He has presented at hundreds of conferences throughout the world on sports physical therapy and athletic training. In addition, he has published more than 150 articles and research abstracts, has written several books and has contributed chapters to more than 30 books. Dr. Davies was also the original co-founder and co-editor of The Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy. Dr. Davies is presently a Professor of Physical Therapy at Armstrong Atlantic State University and Professor-Emeritus of Physical Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse Graduate Physical Therapy Program.
