Mark Neumann Northern Arizona University, USA

Mark Neumann, Ph.D. is the founder and Director of DocumentaryWorks.org. He also serves as Director and Professor at the Northern Arizona University’s School of Communication. Neumann’s research interests include urban culture, travel and leisure, and cultural memory. He is conducting extensive research on amateur film at the Northeast Historical Film Archive in Bucksport, Maine. Neumann’s first book On The Rim: Looking for the Grand Canyon was published by University of Minnesota Press in 1999. His work has also appeared in the following journals: The Moving Image, Symbolic Interaction, Consumption and Society, Visual Sociology, Cultural Studies, Journal of Communication Inquiry, and Border/Lines.
