Carly Lightowlers Liverpool John Moores University, UK

Carly Lightowlers is a Lecturer in Criminal Justice at Liverpool John Moores University (UK). She completed her PhD research, showcased here, at the Cathy Marsh Centre at the University of Manchester (UK), during which she also held an internship in the Home Office's Research and Analysis Unit in London. Her PhD uses quantitative methods to study the development of drinking patterns and violent behaviour among young people. Before embarking on her PhD, she held research positions in local government settings as well as having worked as an Alcohol Researcher for the Centre for Public Health at Liverpool John Moores University (; Twitter #Carly_LL).
