Jim Marton is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. He is also a faculty affiliate of the Andrew Young School’s Georgia Health Policy Center. His research interests involve the financing of public health insurance programs. Dr. Marton’s work has been published in such journals as the Journal of Health Economics, the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, the National Tax Journal, Health Economics, Health Services Research, Inquiry, the Journal of Mental Health Policy and Economics, the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association, and Health Services Research and Managerial Epidemiology. He was previously an Assistant Professor at the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Kentucky and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Taubman Center for Public Policy at Brown University.
