SAGE Publishing acquires journal portfolio from international independent publisher, Wichtig

SAGE Publishing, one of the world’s leading independent and academic publishers today announced the purchase of the full portfolio of journals from the international, independent STM publisher, Wichtig. The acquisition marks a significant milestone in SAGE’s science, technology and medical (STM) publishing program and the development of its offerings across clinical medicine and bioengineering. The first issues with SAGE will publish January 2018.

SAGE Publishing acquires Talis Group Ltd

SAGE Publishing has acquired Talis, a technology company, and its enterprise teaching and learning platform, Talis Aspire.

This acquisition marks an important step for SAGE as it moves SAGE's product portfolio beyond content-led resources into technology solutions that support teaching, learning and research in the higher education institution. This new move is in response to the evolving student, researcher, and library needs.

SAGE Publishing welcomes the Journal of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Rehabilitation

SAGE Publishing announced today that it is has partnered with the Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association (HKOA) and Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons (HKCOS) to publish the Journal of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Rehabilitation (JOTR).

The open access (OA) journal will be published twice a year by SAGE, with each issue featuring articles that focus on the journal’s areas of study and subjects related to orthopaedics. The journal will also feature special issues, focusing in-depth on one area of the field.
