SAGE to publish Healthcare Management Forum starting in 2015

Los Angeles, CA - SAGE and the Canadian College of Health Leaders are pleased to announce that SAGE will begin publishing the College’s journal, Healthcare Management Forum (HMF), with the first edition in January 2015.

The journal publishes articles on leading practices related to health leadership and management, including recent research, new technology and professional practices from health leaders' perspectives.

Issue Production

Adherence to issue due dates is imperative to ensure on-time issue publication, as this can affect your journal’s institutional subscriptions, impact factor, and subscription revenue. Please remember the following for smooth sailing through issue production:

Health, Life & Biomedical Sciences

Over the last two decades, SAGE’s science, technology and medicine program has grown rapidly, with SAGE now recognized as a leading independent publisher in those disciplines and one of the top five publishers of medical journals in the world.

Funding Acknowledgements

All research articles should have a funding acknowledgement statement included in the manuscript in the form of a sentence under a separate heading entitled ‘Funding’ directly after your Acknowledgements and Declaration of Conflicting Interests, if applicable, and prior to any Notes and your References. The funding agency should be written out in full, followed by the grant number in square brackets, see following example:

This work was supported by the Medical Research Council [grant number xxx].

Open Access Options

Sage was one of the first major publishers to embrace the open access mode of free access with licencing allowing liberal reuse of articles. Many funding bodies and institutions now require that the work they support is made publicly available through a suitable repository.
