Sage has an agreement with the Bibsam consortium of Swedish universities, governmental agencies and research institutes to publish articles open access. The agreement for participating organizations will run from January 01, 2024 through to December 31, 2027. Sage has an agreement with South African National Library and Information Consortium (SANLiC) to publish articles open access. The agreement for participating organizations will run from January 1, 2022, through to December 31, 2024. The details of the agreement are as follows:

To qualify for the agreement, the corresponding author must be affiliated with Penn State and have an article accepted for publication between January 01, 2022, and December 31, 2024.

Sage has an agreement with University Libraries at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to publish articles open access. The agreement for participating organizations will run from January 01, 2023, through to December 31, 2025. The details of the agreement are as follows:
