I find this a rather laboured read with a fair bit of repetition, however; there are some excellent strategies in here and the book is well worth reading.

This is a great book which I have recommended to several students - at least one has bought it and agrees on its value. I have also asked our library to purchase it - although some hard copies are being bought, we would really like it to be available as an e-book for institutional use which I am told is currently not possible.

Dr Doreen Challen
School of Education, Southampton University
