Companion website to accompany the Third Edition of Introduction to Social Research
While the book deals comprehensively with issues in social science research and can be a useful resource for students undertaking research, it is not suitable for a research writing course as it does not deal with how social science research is communicated. That said, this book is highly recommended as a reference text.
Student teachers havt to do a social reserach project during their teacher master degree programme. Most students are not familiar with social science research. This book gives a quick insight in qualitative as well as quantative research and is a helpful tool by their research projects.

This text has to be on the bookshelf of anyone undertaking research in the field of education.
I requested this book as I already owned the first edition of this book and I found this very useful as a resource and teaching aid. The second edition edition of the text is equally as impressive and it offers a step-by-step journey around the pertinent social research issues (both qualitative and quantitative). A resourceful text which I will definitely be recommending to my students.
i find this easy for the undergraduate research students as well as novice researcher. It forces the student to interact with it. I liked the exercise part.
