Xiaoshu Zhu, PhS Western Sydney University, Australia

Associate Professor Xiaoshu Zhu is Associate Dean, School of Health Sciences at Western Sydney University. She is inaugural Director, Chinese Medicine Centre, an international partnership between Western Sydney University (WSU) and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM). She is also Director, Chinese Medicine Program at the University and serves as a Leader of cancer research at NICM Health Research Institute, the Australia’s premier research institute in complementary medicine. With her international influence, she serves as Working Editor, the Gynaecology and Fertility Group, the Cochrane Collaboration. She is long-standing committee member of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) representing Australia on developing international standards of traditional Chinese medicine. She also serves for the World Health Organisation (WHO) as expert on standardisation of Chinese medicine terminology. She was inaugural Member of the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia.
