Anthony Welch, RN, PhD Central Queensland University, Australia
Anthony J. Welch is an associate professor of Mental Health Nursing at the School of Nursing Midwifery, & Social Sciences, Central Queensland University. He is Discipline Head of Mental Health Nursing. With over 30 years in the higher education sector, he has taken a leadership role in establishing mental health and undergraduate and post-graduate programs across Australian and internationally. His experience in mentoring academics in the successful supervision of higher degree candidature is extensive. His areas of clinical and research interests are in resilience, recovery, compassion, men’s health, and spirituality. His research expertise is in qualitative research methods.
