Guo-Qing Zheng The Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, China

Prof., Dr. Guo-qing Zheng is director of integrative brain disease and vice dean of Neurology and Psychiatry in the second affiliated hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, visiting Xinglin chair professor in Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He owns double Ph.D., M.D. degrees and double certificates of medical practitioner both on neurology in western medicine and internal medicine in integrative medicine.

He obtained his college degree from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1996, and further obtained his master's degree from Southwest Medical University in 2001. Subsequently, he had been educated in Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Tianjin Medical University, and was conferred the two Ph.D. degrees in Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2004 and in Neurology of Western Medicine in 2009, respectively. Thus, He has double licensed practitioner on both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine.

He is invited for Peer-reviewed expert of the Hong Kong Food and Health Bureau fund and Peer-reviewed expert of the National Natural Science Foundation in China. He took the Member of committee in 15 national and provincial associations such as Member of the Professional Committee of both Evidence-based medicine and Neurology in Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, editor for 5 international journals such as Associate Editor for J Alzheimers Dis and peer reviewer for more than 20 SCI journals such as Ann Intern Med.

Prof. Zheng has published more than 10 books and over 95 articles in SCI journals, H-index 20. His research interests mainly focus on the integrative medicine of neurology. Major research topics involve: 1) evidence-based medicine of neurological diseases; 2) clinical trial for neurological diseases; 3) pharmacological evaluation on neurological diseases; 4) integrative medicine for neurological diseases.
