a great basic introduction to research concepts, which scaffolds those without prior training in research to understand concepts and the context of research. The book does not go into much depth on methods, but serves as a very useful macro-guide to the research process.

Excellent book, with very good examples in justifying the role of research in clinical settings and to provide supporting evidence for treatments development&implementation.
Very concise and clear way of explaining the principles of the research process.
