Brain Science Advances (BSA) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal which publishes original research articles, review articles and case reports on all aspects of brain sciences with a focus on molecular and cellular neuroscience, clinical neuroscience, and neural engineering across the Asia-Pacific region. It is published quarterly by Tsinghua University Press and SAGE Publishing.

Brain Science Advances (BSA) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal which publishes original research articles, review articles and case reports on all aspects of brain sciences with a focus on molecular and cellular neuroscience, clinical neuroscience, and neural engineering.

In the background of China Brain Project, the journal aims to be an international multidisciplinary forum disseminating and promoting the research around brain sciences. The journal publishes original research articles and case reports from all fields and disciplines of brain sciences.

Manuscripts dealing with (but not limited to) the following subject areas will be considered for publication:
