The Journal of Comorbidity to be published by SAGE Publishing

SAGE Publishing can announce today that it is to begin publishing The Journal of Comorbidity (JOC). The first SAGE issue of the open access journal will publish in July 2018.

JOC is dedicated to studies that will improve the health and wellbeing of those affected with comorbidity and multimorbidity. The journal is a global information resource that focuses on different aspects of medicine in order to publish the optimum research for dealing with comorbidity and multimorbidity.

Professor Martin Fortin, Co-editor, JOC, stated:

“Through our unique scope of focusing primarily on comorbidity and multimorbidity we can tackle an issue that is underrepresented in medical research. Having a journal entirely dedicated to this important topic is critical for the development of pertinent research and for seamless sharing among the international scientific community. With the journal being published by SAGE, we can work together to reach our goal of becoming a leading global platform that, through improving the available research, improves the lives of patients with comorbidity and multimorbidity.”

JOC accepts research pieces in multiple formats including guidelines, policies, editorials, commentaries, protocols, and critical review articles.
