A remarkably well written, accessible and insightful work of leadership; valuable learning resource for students and practitioners undertaking leadership.
Interesting, comprehensive, and engaging book which combines humour with essential information. However I feel that this book extends beyond what a pre-registration student would need, though Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals on management courses or who are applying for more senior posts would find this book very useful
Excellent introduction to the theory and practice of leadership.
Excellent book which addresses well some of the fundamentals of leadership theories. A well written and easily readable book.
This book is an excellent look at leadership and all concepts and theories surrounding it and I will definitely be recommending it as a text to students.
My leadership course is for first-year students. For that level I prefer the Intro. to Leadership book by Northouse (also publ. by Sage). This one by Roger Gill is excellent as recommended reading, or if I teach an upper-level managerial leadership course.
